The Top 100 Baby Names of 2017 Have Been Released and They Would Actually Make Great Dog Names, Too

-

The top 100 baby names of 2017 have been released, and to say the trends are a reflection of our generation would be an understatement.

According to BabyCenter, the name Sophia remains at the top of the list for baby girl names for the eighth year in a row, while Jackson leads for boy names for the fifth year. However, there were lots of unique and new names on the list, too– the name LeBron (yes, as in LeBron James) jumped 64 percent on the boys’ list from last year, and Moana jumped up 64 percent for girls.

As I’m not in the mindset of having kids soon (knock on wood), I personally think a lot of these names would be perfect for a puppy— regardless, there are some pretty cute names on the list!
