For those of you keeping score at home, Hillary Scott makes the second member of Lady Antebellum to pursue a solo(ish) project while the super-group takes a break.

In an interview with The Tennessean, Hillary’s mother, Linda Davis shared a few details about the project, “As parents, it’s so fun to be able to be involved in a project with both of our children. It’s a dream we didn’t even know to dream about that’s fallen into place.”

Davis was one of half of the “Does He Love You” duet that won a GRAMMY Award in 1994. The other half was Reba.

The album came into being this past summer when the family performed at the funeral for country music legend Jim Ed Brown, “He was about family harmonies and his family wanted us to be a part of that. Ever since Hillary was a little girl, (family harmony) is all she’s known as well as Rylee Jean, our youngest daughter.”

The album should be available next year and will be a mix of old hyms and new songs written by the family.

“It’s sort of a nice combination of past, current and maybe what will last long after we’re gone,” Davis told the newspaper.
