Is Thomas Rhett the Barry Gibb of country music?

If “Make Me Wanna,” Rhett’s new single, doesn’t remind you of the Bee Gee’s “Stayin’ Alive,” maybe you should listen to it again. The vibe is jazzy with a little bit of disco thrown into the mix. But, don’t be fooled– the tune is classic Rhett with lyrics like, “Windows down, country sound, FM on the radio / Just me and you and the man on the moon / Cruisin’ down some old back road… Now baby don’t you look at me that way / ’Cause you know there’s only so much I can take.”

Fortunately for country music fans, Rhett’s voice varies greatly from Gibb’s. This single will make you wanna get lost on “some ole backroad” or even dance.

This is the fifth single off of Rhett’s debut album, It Goes Like This, which has garnered two No. 1 hits for the singer-songwriter.
