The second week of “Dancing with the Stars” went off without a hitch, again eliminating two athletes at the end of the night. Figure skater Adam Rippon and partner Jenna Johnson were not one of those couples eliminated.
The partners tied for the top score of the night. However, being a skater could possibly give him a edge with similar dance movements. Adam took on the Quickstep and wowed the judges with his performance.
“You better work. Oh. my. God, so tight,” Carrie Ann Anaba said after Adam’s dance. “Everything is exactly in sync together.”
“That was absolutely stunning,” said DWTS season 24 winner, Rashad Jennings. “I love it. I love the routine and what I really love is y’all twos chemistry. You all are a true partnership and I love watching you all dance. Rashad, a former NFL running back, returned to the show as guest judge.
From the looks of their 37 out of 40 score, Adam has a good shot of making it all the way to the end. The condensed season, only 6 episodes long, went on to eliminate Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and partner Lindsay Arnold and Arike Ogunbowale and partner Gleb Savchenko.
