Just days after the finale of “America’s Got Talent,” one of the fan-favorite finalists, Michael Ketterer, was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
According to People, the 41-year-old was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in Hollywood and charged with domestic violence. His bail was set at $50,000.
Ketterer reportedly admitted to the TMZ that he and his wife got into a fight in a hotel room, but calls the incident a “misunderstanding.” Once the cops arrived on the scene, Ketterer’s wife reportedly didn’t want to press charges, but authorities arrested Ketterer after spotting a red mark on her.
Ketterer was one of the top 10 finalists on “America’s Got Talent,” but ended up placing fifth in the competition.
During “AGT,” Ketterer had a song, “Courage to Love,” written for him by Garth Brooks. He was set to perform the song with Garth Brooks during his upcoming concert at Notre Dame Stadium on Oct. 20, but there has been no word on whether or not he will still perform given the circumstances.
