Eleven-year- old Angelica Hale took “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” finals to another level when she belted out a stirring rendition of James Arthur’s “Impossible.”
Angelica was among the ten finalists who performed in the finals for the judges and the world to see who will become… well, the champion of all the champions.
If you recall, Angelica was first seen on “America’s Got Talent,” coming in second behind ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer. Angelica was given the golden buzzer on the original show to advance to the finals and then again received the golden buzzer, from Howie Mandel, to proceed to the finals of “AGT’s Champions” series. The young lady did not disappoint.
“Angelica, you are living up to your name of being an angel,” Howie said. “You’re only eleven years old. I don’t know how the fifty states can choose a winner.”
“I have to say, that was such an obvious improvement since we first saw you,” Mel B said. “I can see how committed you were and how relieved you were at the end that you got everything right. It was absolutely brilliant.”
The winner of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” will be revealed on Monday, Feb. 18 on NBC.
