Anthony Bourdain’s “Strong and Brave” 11-Year-Old Daughter Performs Concert Days After His Death

As the world continues to grapple with the sudden death of famed chef Anthony Bourdain, his young daughter Ariane proved that life goes on…and no matter what, life is meant to be lived. And in an Instagram post shared early Monday morning (June 11,) Bourdain’s ex-wife Ottavia Busia showed that their 11-year-old daughter is doing just that.

“Our little girl had her concert today,” Busia wrote alongside a pic of Ariane on stage at a concert at DROM, a music venue in New York City. “She was amazing. So strong and brave. She wore the boots you bought her. I hope you are having a good trip, wherever you are.”

And if that’s not enough to get the tears flowing yet again, we don’t know what is.

Indeed, since the passing of Bourdain on June 8 in which he was found to have committed suicide in his hotel room in France, the whole world has seemingly been trying to get used to their new normal without the chef and much-loved talk show host’s heartfelt commentary about the life we live and the food we choose to eat.

Fans will recall that Bourdain and Busia were married for nine years, but split in 2016.
