Antonio Brown has been in the news for his bad boy NFL antics with the Oakland Raiders, before being picked up by the New England Patriots, but the most recent story has nothing to do with football.
The football player’s former trainer Britney Taylor, is accusing him of sexual assault, which includes forcible rape. Antonio has come out with a statement through his lawyer that has him denying the accusations.
“Mr. Brown denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit,” his attorney, Darren Heitner, said in a statement. “He will pursue all legal remedies to not only clear his name, but to also protect other professional athletes against false accusations.”
The pair met when they attended Central Michigan University in a bible study class. Britney who was a gymnast was paired with the football player. However, after college they lost touch only to meet up in 2017.
According to multiple reports and the lawsuit, Britney began providing physical training services to the pro athlete. That’s when Taylor alleges that Antonio sexually assaulted her twice during their sessions. The first time allegedly exposing his penis and grabbing and kissing her without her consent.
The second alleged incident occurred at another training session where Antonio masturbated and ejaculated on her back without her knowledge.
After cutting ties with the NFL baller, Britany alleges that Antonio got in touch and was ‘”expressing contrition, begging forgiveness and pleading with her to train him again.” That’s when, the lawsuit claims, Antonio allegedly “forced her onto his bed, pushed her face into the mattress and raped her in Miami.”
“Ms. Taylor tried to resist him, but Brown was too strong and physically overpowered her,” the lawsuit reads. “She screamed and cried throughout the entire rape, repeatedly shouting ‘no’ and ‘stop.’ Brown refused and penetrated her.”
Britney is accusing Antonio Brown of sexual battery, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment and invasion of privacy.
Antonio Brown’s attorney, Darren Heitner, posted his statement on social media and in a separate Tweet stated, “Antonio Brown will leave no stone unturned and will aggressively defend himself, including exercising all of his rights in countersuits.”
