Say what you will about the Bachelor franchise of shows. The fact is that every now and then, they get it right. Case in point – Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon.

The Bachelor in Paradise alums were married in a gorgeous ceremony on Sunday (August 11,) with Iaconetti wearing not one, but two dresses.

“I never thought I would be a two-dress kind of girl, but I found my reception dress first and couldn’t say no,” she tells People magazine during an interview just days before the big nuptials.

And while she went over the top in terms of dresses, Iaconetti chose to keep things a tad more low key when it came to her makeup.

“I wanted my makeup to be natural-ish,” she told the magazine. “I don’t want it to be cakey. I want the emphasis to be more on the eyes.”

But more than anything, Iaconetti said that she wanted to sweep her love off his feet as she walked down the aisle.

“I hope that Jared cries,” she says. “There’s so much pressure on Jared to cry because this entire time I’ve been the crier right? Everybody’s seen me cry. I want him to cry this time. I just hope that Jared thinks that I truly look the prettiest I’ve ever looked on this day. And I hope it takes his breath away.”

Jared took to his Instagram after they officially tied the knot to share a photo with his beautiful bride, along with a heartfelt caption.

“How to even begin this caption? There’s so many emotions running through my body right now. I woke up yesterday morning, the day of my wedding, crying. Not from sadness, or fear. I was crying because I was so overwhelmed with happiness, excitement, gratefulness and humbleness. I was about to have the honor of marrying my favorite person on this earth. Ashley is my best friend, my person, my soulmate and now my wife,” he shared.

“I love this woman more than words will ever allow me to express. In the coming days/weeks/months, I’ll be sharing so many pictures and videos from our wedding because it was the best day of my life. Thank you to my family and friends for surrounding us with so much love. Thank you to my parents for always supporting and loving me and being such great examples for my sister and I. Thank you to Jay and Audrey for being incredible people and raising two wonderful women.”
