The new season of The Bachelor hasn’t even started yet, and its already shaping up to be an exciting one.
While in Costa Rica for the taping of the upcoming season of the dating show, the new Bachelor Peter Weber had to undergo emergency surgery, according to People magazine.
“There’s been some wild claims and rumors about Peter today. Peter suffered a freak accident,” longtime host of The Bachelor Chris Harrison stated on his Instagram page on Tuesday (Oct. 8.) “He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100% OK and production is already back underway. He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of.”
According to reports, the freak accident occurred on Monday (Oct. 7,) when the dashing pilot, who wined and dined Hannah Brown last season on The Bachelorette, fell during a game of golf.
“He went to step on the cart but fell and and split his face open on two cocktail glasses he was carrying,” a source says.
And while it remains to be seen if the camera actually caught the incident, chances are that millions will tune in to see if it did. The new season of The Bachelor premieres in January 2020.
Get well, Peter!
