While some of Bachelor Nation is still mad at Arie Luyendyk Jr. for breaking the heart of “Bachelorette” Becca Kufrin, one can’t deny that maybe, the race car driver made the right decision after all.
Luyendyk shared a pic of his save the date cards for his upcoming wedding to his “Bachelor” runner-up and now fiancée Lauren Burnham.
“Sending these out this week,” Luyendyk writes on the Instagram post alongside a beautiful picture of the happy couple. “January can’t come soon enough.”
The card in the picture shows that the wedding is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2019 in Maui, Hawaii. The wedding will take place at the historic and beautiful landscape Haiku Mill.
And in case you are wondering, this wedding will not be televised.
This moment will just be for them.
Fans will recall that Luyendyk asked Burnham for her hand in marriage on the “After the Final Rose” special back in March of this year.
“I wanted to do this in front of everyone because I want to show you that I should have done this a long time ago,” he said on the show. “Lauren Elizabeth Burnham, will you marry me?”
Here’s to hoping these two finally find their happy ending.
