We have heard about holding grudges, but Bette Midler just might be taking it a little too far.

In a tweet sent out on Monday (December 9) from her account, the legendary actress and singer called out none other than Justin Timberlake, demanding that he apologizes to Janet Jackson for mistakenly exposing her breast during their Super Bowl performance…in 2004.

That’s right – 15 years ago.

“Justin Timberlake publicly apologized to his wife for holding hands with another actress after having too much to drink, but (says) nothing else happened,” she wrote. “Who cares? He held another woman’s hand, BFD. So when is Janet Jackson’s boob gonna get an apology?”

Midler ended it with the hashtag #JusticeForJanet.

The first part of the tweet refers to Timberlake’s recent apology to his wife Jessica Biel, after he was photographed holding the hand of his Palmer movie co-star Alisha Wainwright. Timberlake later admitted to being a tad intoxicated at the time.

“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love,” Timberlake wrote. “A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior.”

So, is Midler joking? Or is she serious? And will Timberlake even care?

We will soon see.
