When you have show that is as popular as The Big Bang Theory, you get all kinds of honors coming your way. So when the cast of the sitcom stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she had not choice but to name her new game after the TV series.

“In honor of you guys we’re playing a new game, it took us a long time to come up with this title, we’re calling it the Big Bang, Ellen said.

The cast was split into two teams, boys versus girls. The boys team consisted of Johnny Galecki, Kunaal Nayyar, Simon Helbert and Jim Parsons. The girls team was Kaley Cuoco, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik.

Here’s how it’s played:

Ellen will then ask each team a trivia question. When she is done the balloon in front of them will fill up. When they know the answer they have to press a button to stop the balloon from filling. If they get the answer wrong the balloon will continue to fill and if no one knows the answer,  they get a three second penalty and it goes to the other team. First team whose balloon pops is the loser. Got it? Good.

Ellen kicked off with an easy question, asking the ladies, “who are the two teams playing in the Super Bowl?” Mayim immediately hit the button and got the correct answer. For those that don’t know, it’s the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.

The guys were up next. “Who is the oldest Kardashian sister?” Ellen asked. It took a second but Sam hit the button, and with an assist from Kunaal, they got the answer right. It’s Kourtney for all you Kardashian fans out there.

The game continued to go back and forth, with each team getting the answers correct as their balloons slowly filled. Then the final straw came was when the ladies didn’t know the official language of the Bahamas. It’s English.

The ladies lost, but Ellen couldn’t let them go without telling them how much we all appreciated them and their show.

“I just want to say on behalf, I hope, of everyone, we have appreciated and loved you for twelve years,” she said. “You all are amazing and you’ll go on to do other amazing things. We’ll miss you, thank you so much for everything for twelve years.”

The Big Bang Theory will end it’s run after it’s 12th season on CBS.
