Cardi B. Told Ellen How She Got Pregnant, The Best Truck For Babies and A Whole Lot More on This Journey of a Must-Watch Interview

-

Over the last few months, the world has turned “Bodak Yellow” thanks to former stripper turned reality TV star turned rapper, Cardi B.

As a person who still read the newspaper and regularly gets up before the early local news comes on in the morning, it took me a long time to figure out who Cardi B. is and what she does. Now, she’s a rapper, but she was discovered on Instagram while being a stripper. Her rise to fame isn’t one of those cookie cutter Tide commercial stories, but it’s still selling albums.

During Cardi’s recent appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” she revealed that she’s pregnant with her first child with fiancé and fellow rapper, Offset of the group Migos.

All of that information brings us to Cardi’s recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres on “The Ellen Show.” It was such a journey.

After discussing her name with Ellen for a couple of minutes, the new friends got down to business discussing Cardi’s pregnancy.

While showing video from Coachella of Cardi twerking on stage, Cardi explained two things:

  1. “They say the more you move, the easier it will come out.”
  2. “I was just trying to show the world how I got pregnant in the first place.”

To which Ellen cautiously replied, “We were all curious and we didn’t know how and now we do…so, great.”

After side-stepping a more in-depth description of how one gets pregnant, Ellen moved on to discussing buying Cardi a new car even though Cardi doesn’t drive, “I’m a professional passenger,” she said.

Ellen asked Cardi what kind of car she wanted and of course, she had a pretty mild request, “I think I want like, a Lamborghini truck, because I need like a baby car.”

Is that a baby car?

Ellen tried to tell her that the Lamborghini truck wasn’t the smoothest driving automobile out there, but she said it’s pretty and then they just made a noise at each other for multiple seconds.

Finally, when Ellen said she was going to make some calls about the truck, Cardi said, “see! That’s why I need more friends like you– all my friends just get me into fights and trouble.”
