However, local reports say that police were called to his South Carolina home in the early morning hours of March 12. At the time of his death, Jim and his wife Misti still worked at their dental practice Irmo Smiles and sent out a sad message to their patients last week.
“Irmo Smiles has suffered a tragic loss this week,” the statement read. ” It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing for Dr. Jim Raman. As our staff and the family prepare for Dr. Raman’s celebration of life, please join us in praying for peace and comfort during this difficult time.”
According to his obituary, Dr. Roman’s faith has long been something very important to him.
“Jim was a devout Christian who attended Riverland Hills Baptist Church,” the obituary reads. “He not only believed in God, but applied his faith in his profession and openly shared his Christian beliefs with those he deeply loved.”
