Newlyweds Ant Anstead and Christina El Moussa Share New Year’s Eve Tradition

-

Just days after her secret wedding to boyfriend Ant Anstead, “Flip or Flop” star Christina El Moussa (now Anstead) had a lot to be grateful for. In fact, she and her now-husband have a thoughtful way to keep track of the many special moments that happen in a year.

Christina took to her Instagram to share a photo of a jar filled with small notes where she and Ant write down things they are grateful for throughout the year.

“WHAT A YEAR,” she stated on her Instagram. “This time last year there were so many unknowns and so much was up in the air for me personally and professionally.”

She shared that they had started the jar on December 31 of 2017. “Ant Anstead and I started this jar on 12/31/17 and placed a note in it every time we did something really special. Reading them tonight it truly has been the most unbelievable year!! SO grateful.”

She then went on to share some of the special moments from 2018.”Our incredible wedding — And our blended family of 4 kids that all love each other so much. Moving into our new home in Newport Beach. Filming #christinaonthecoast, getting picked up for 8th (OMG) season of #fliporflop. Traveling to some incredible places.”

The “Flip or Flop” star married her boyfriend of one year in a secret wedding at their home in Newport Beach, California.

According to People, the two were married in front of 70 of their friends and family, who originally thought they were attending the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade. Instead, they saw Christina and Ant exchange I Do’s.

“We wanted to make it about the kids,” Ant said of the marriage. “It’s the six of us. We’re a blended family so it was really important for them to be a part of it.”

Christina has two children with her ex and “Flip or Flop” co-star, Tarek El Moussa, while Ant Anstead has two kids of his own from a previous marriage.
