The road to love hasn’t always been easy for Bachelor stars Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham. Yet, it looks like the two have now found the gold at the end of their rainbow as the two were wed over the weekend in a ceremony in Hawaii.
“It’s was an incredible wedding week,” Bachelor host Chris Harrison wrote on his Instagram page. “My blessings and prayers to Mr & Mrs Luyendyk and baby Luyendyk on the way. For now it’s Aloha!”
As it turns out, Harrison actually officiated the couple’s ceremony.
According to various sources, the wedding was just as beautiful as you would imagine.
“It was an amazing day,” a wedding attendee told People magazine. “Arie and Lauren wrote their own vows and both of them got choked up. The biggest laughs during the ceremony were for the flower girl and ring bearer. Her grandmother was throwing the flowers first down the aisle, but then onto the guests. She was so cute and really connected with everyone.”
Now that the wedding is behind them, it’s time to look forward to the arrival of their first child! And yes, the soon-to-be grandparents couldn’t be happier.
“The two sets of parents spent a lot of time interacting and genuinely seemed to be enjoying getting to know each other better,” the insider added.
Some of the guests attending Arie and Lauren’s big day including “Bachelor” couple Sean Lowe and his wife, Catherine, who shared photos from the big day. “CHEERS TO LOVE,” Catherine said alongside a series of photos on Instagram. ”
Congratulations to Lauren and Arie (and Baby Girl Luyendyk) on making it official tonight! So honored to have witnessed it and to have celebrated you. (Also, have you seen this stunning of a bride before?!?”
Arie and Lauren got engaged in what might be the most dramatic “Bachelor” finale ever after Arie originally proposed to Becca Kufrin, then took it back, saying he was in love with Lauren.
They announced the news of their baby on the way back in November, saying, “Our greatest adventure begins June 2019!” They later revealed that they’re expecting a girl. Needless to say, they have a lot of exciting times ahead!
