Just weeks after his separation from Jenna Dewan following nine years of marriage, Channing Tatum spent Father’s Day (June 17) with the girl that has always found a way to make him smile – his daughter Everly.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Tatum can be seen spending the day with Everly doing a lemonade stand to raise money for the charitable organization Baby2Baby. Of course, any parent knows that a lemonade stand isn’t as easy as it looks, but Tatum made it look fun by showing how he worked to do everything from making the signs to decorating the table.
Indeed, both Tatum and Dewan seem to be finding their way through what has obviously been a tough time for the couple. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Dewan touched on this exact subject.
“I feel a sense of joy and freedom and excitement, truly, about a new chapter in my life,” she said. “And I have no attachments to how that’s going to look, or what that’s going to be. I feel really open, and I feel hopeful.”
And a lot of that hope for the both of them seems to be found in the eyes of their daughter.
“She’s like a little mirror for me,” Dewan said. “She’s so willful that she kind of inspires me to get clear and more willful in my own life.”
