It’s no secret that our current “Bachelor” Colton Underwood is a fairly private and modest guy— so when a fan got handsy during a recent meet-and-greet at a charity event, he was forced to take matters into his own hands.
Colton Underwood took to his Instagram following a charity event on Wednesday, February 13 to apologize to fans who weren’t able to get a photo with him as he left the event early, explaining his decision.
“I’m sorry if you didn’t get a picture at the event last night, but at one point during the event, I was grabbed and touched inappropriately while people were throwing cameras in my face. I am the type of person who would have stood in line for hours to make sure anyone who supported the event got a picture, but once that happened I had to do what was best for me as a human being,” he shared on his Instagram story.
“I didn’t sign up to be a piece of meat or a zoo animal. I hope we run into each other at another event or on the street and I can take the time to say hello. Thank you again for coming to support Legacy and the fight against CF.”
According to People, the event was put on in order to raise money for those living with cystic fibrosis. Underwood first launched the event back in 2015.
