Congratulations are in order for music legend David Foster and actress Katharine McPhee, who tied the knot in London on Friday, June 27.
According to an E! News source, Katharine was dressed in a Zac Posen gown as she wed David at the church of St. Yeghiche in London. Family and friends were in attendance for the traditional ceremony, including David’s daughters Sara and Erin Foster.

Katharine took to Instagram prior to the wedding to reveal the upcoming nuptial.
“Exactly 13 years ago today my very first single, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, was released right after Idol. Today… I’m marrying the man who produced it. Life is full of beautiful coincidences, isn’t it? Thank you for taking me over the rainbow, David,” she wrote.
The “Over It” singer also shared her pre-wedding beauty regimen on her Instagram story, along with a little secret.
“The secret to a calm and collected bride,” she wrote as she’s being pampered. “And maybe a little Xanax.”
Katharine began dating David Foster in September of 2017, but they first met when she was a contestant on “American Idol” in 2006. The couple confirmed their engagement with a post on Twitter in early July. This is the fifth marriage for David, who was most recently married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid—mother of models Bella and Gigi Hadid, and a second marriage for Katharine.
Congratulations to the happy couple
