Emily Blunt and The Rock are Hilarious in First-Look Teaser For New “Jungle Cruise” Movie

Emily Blunt (“Devil Wears Prada,” “A Quiet Place”) and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (“Skyscraper,” “Jumanji”) are being paired up for a brand new Disney movie, “Jungle Cruise.”

According to IMDB, the film is based on Disneyland’s theme park ride where a small riverboat takes a group of travelers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals and reptiles, but with a supernatural element.

The cast will include Dwayne, Emily, Jesse Plemons (“Friday Night Lights”), Edgar Ramirez (“Gold”), Paul Giamatti (“American Splendor”), Jack Whitehall.

Emily and Dwayne are giving viewers a first-look at the movie in a teaser video posted on YouTube.

“Hi everybody! Welcome to the set of Jungle Cruise, I’m so excited to welcome you to this incredible movie,” Emily begins the video. As she continues showing fans around, Dwayne enters the shot, interrupting Emily, and she wants no part of it.

“This was just supposed to be my thing,” she says.

As the two banter about the movie, Emily walks off, frustrated with Dwayne, only to return and let everyone know they were just kidding.

“Come on back,” Dwayne says.

“We’re just kidding,” Emily says. “Welcome to the adventure of the lifetime.”

“Jungle Cruise” is set for release on October 11, 2019.
