Days after allegations began flying that her husband David Eason shot and killed the family dog comes word that Jenelle Evans’ children have been removed from her North Carolina home.

“During this difficult time, I’m focused on getting Kaiser back and cooperating with my legal team on the next steps to getting my children back,” the former Teen Mom 2 star told People magazine in a statement.

Evans also told US Weekly on Monday (May 13) that ‘Kaiser was taken away Friday without my consent, before Mother’s Day, and I have been in touch with my lawyer pertaining this matter.’ Fans will recall that Evans is mom to 9-year-old Jace, 4-year-old Kaiser and 2-year-old Ensley, and that her mother Barbara currently has custody of Jace.

Confused? Yes, so are we.

And while details regarding the circumstances of this ongoing saga are quite sketchy, there is no doubt that Evans loves her kids. In fact, her Instagram has been filled as of late with sweet sentiments towards them.

We pray that everything gets worked out in the days ahead. Evans will have to find a new job soon though, considering the fact that MTV has stopped filming her story and have no plans to follow the story in any way during the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2.
