The rumor mill strikes again! “Grease” star Olivia Newton-John is assuring fans that she is happy and feeling great after rumors began circulating that the 70-year-old was on her deathbed with “weeks” to live.
Rumors of Newton-John being deathly ill began circulating around Christmas as RadarOnline reported that her “bodily functions appear to be shutting down.” Newton-John shared that she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2017— but, as for now, she says she’s “doing great.”
In a video posted to her Twitter account, she appears to be happy and healthy, looking as marvelous as ever.
“I just want to say the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote, and I’m doing great and I want to wish all of you the happiest, healthiest 2019 that’s possible,” she said quoting Mark Twain.
She also thanked fans for their support of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness Centre in Australia.
Happy New Year! Here’s to a wonderful 2019! Love & light, Olivia pic.twitter.com/1Nd2jIcRb1
