Fans have long known the beautiful heart of pop star Pink, but that heart became even more beautiful during a recent concert in which she walked offstage to comfort a mourning fan.

The moment took place on Tuesday (Aug. 21) at Pink’s show in Brisbane, Australia. According to various reports, Pink was in the middle of her set when she noticed a sign in the crowd held by 14-year-old Leah Murphy. “My name is Leah,” the sign read. “I’m 14 years old. I lost my beautiful Mom last month. I would LOVE a hug…Please!”

As soon as Pink read the sign, she seemed emotionally touched by the sentiment and began to come down off the stage to find the fan.

“I was crying a lot and Pink said, ‘Oh don’t cry, you look so pretty,” Murphy says in an interview about the touching moment that took place in front of thousands. “(She said) ‘everything’s going to be okay.’ She was really nice. She’s really sweet.”

What makes this story even more bittersweet was that Murphy’s mom had every intention to see Pink together with her mom before her death.  “We used to sing [her songs] always together and dance around the house,” Murphy recalls.

This lady 💗 has left us all speechless but feeling so very loved @pink @leah.m.m
