A new designer is born! HGTV star Leanne Ford of the popular show Restored by the Fords gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Monday (March 18.)

“Welcome to the HGTV family Ever Allen Ford,” the HGTV Instagram post read on Tuesday (March 19.) “This future designer was born Monday, March 18 – just in time to watch her mom Leanne Ford Interiors tonight on the new season of Restored by the Fords!”

The baby girl is the first child for Ford and her husband Erik and weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz. and 20.5 inches long.

“Her name, Ever, means ‘always and eternal,’” the parents told People magazine. “We believe this sweet soul was put on this earth for a purpose, and we can’t wait to see what that will be.”

Fans have been following Ford’s pregnancy journey since the couple announced their baby news last October.

“So many women have trouble getting pregnant and so many of my friends have kind of had their woes about it, so I just assumed that would be the case, and you just assume it’s going to take a long time and it didn’t,” says the interior designer, who stars on Restored by the Fords alongside her brother Steve. Of course, the timing of the baby news is even cooler considering that the second season of the design show is currently airing on HGTV.

Congrats to the happy family!
