Chris Hemsworth is bringing Hulkamania to Netflix so you better “Eat your vitamins and say your prayers.”
That catchphrase, made famous superstar wrestler Hulk Hogan, will be uttered by the Thor actor, who is in talks to portray the wrestling champ in the upcoming biopic for the streaming service, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover trilogy), will follow the Hulk’s wrestling career from his early start the 1970s into his dominance in the 80s with the WWF (World Wrestling Federation) when the craze of “Hulkamania” was born.
THR reports that the film will not cover Hogan’s entire life, including his later years or the scandals he faced with his sex tape. The movie will be about his formation into Hulk Hogan—his real name is Terry Bollea—and the rise of Hulkamania.
Entertainment Tonight reveals that the Hulk sold the exclusive life rights to his story to Netflix and will consult on the movie as well as executive produce.
No word on when the movie will be released. But we look forward to see Chris Hemsworth transform himself into the wrestling superstar.
