Chrissy Teigen Shares Sweet Video of John Legend After He Earned His EGOT

Ask any successful couple – you must relish in each other’s accomplishments. And on Sunday night (Sept. 9,) model Chrissy Teigen did just that for husband John Legend.

Earlier that night, Legend won at the Creative Arts Emmys for co-producing “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert,” making him the first African-American to win an Emmy, Tony, Oscar and Grammy.

Yet the real heartwarming moment came when Legend returned home, and Teigen caught him putting his much-deserved award up on the shelf. “And I say hey, what a wonderful day,” Teigen wrote alongside the video of the moment.

“We inspire each other,” Legend expressed in an interview shortly after his big win. “She inspires my songs, she inspires me to want to be a better husband and a better father. We support each other fully in everything that we do. I root for her in her career and everything she’s doing. And I expect that she’ll be up here winning Emmys herself for all the awesome work that she does.”

Legend went on to say that he’s glad he found her.

“She’s such a dynamic, vibrant personality, and I’ve fallen in love with her a long time before the rest of America did,” he added. “But now America’s fallen in love with her too, and she inspires me every day.”
