This season of “America’s Got Talent” has had its share of stand-out performers this year. Yet, no one has gotten the attention as much as Courtney Hadwin. On Tuesday (Sept. 11,) Hadwin returned to the AGT stage during the semi-final rounds, stunning the audience with her version of “Born to be Wild” by Steppenwolf.

“None of your performances should be perfect because that’s what you’re all about,” judge Simon Cowell said after the performance. “You’re this bundle of excitement, and it’s raw and it’s messy, but that’s what makes you great.”

And once again, both the judges and the fans watching at home felt the same way. In fact, everyone was so seemingly blown away by the 14-year-old’s powerful performance that they made sure that the English singer was voted in as a finalist on the show.

“I smell a million dollars!” exclaimed judge Howie Mandel, who originally chose the singer as his golden buzzer winner after her initial performance.

“Thank you so much for believing in me,” Hadwin told the crowd after receiving the good news that she was moving on to the finals.

Earlier this season, Hadwin received backlash after it was discovered that “America’s Got Talent” was not her first singing competition as she landed in the top 6 of “The Voice Kids UK” just last year. The supposed shy girl has also played “Cosette” in a production of “Les Miserables.”

Hadwin will now join fellow finalists such as vocalist Daniel Emmet, violinist Brian King Joseph and magician Shin Lim on the finale. The season 13 champion will be crowned on Sept. 19.
