“The Voice” blind auditions have finally come to a close, and each coach has a completely full team. During the final round of auditions, the coaches were being pretty particular about which artists they turned for as it would close out their teams.
17-year-old Dallas Caroline from Santa Rosa, California took the stage to cover Willie Nelson’s hit, “Always on My Mind,” and her voice was sweet, pure and pretty incredible. Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson all turned their chairs for her, but ultimately Dallas decided to go with Blake Shelton as her coach.
“There’s our next LeAnn Rimes, our next Tanya Tucker, our next hero in country music,” Blake Shelton said of her performance. While you could tell she was a little nervous, I think with some coaching and direction, she could go far in this competition. But the next Tanya Tucker? Those are some big words, Blake!
