“Dancing with the Stars” Season 27 Winner Announced

After weeks of eliminations and romances and a slew of impressive dance moves, season 27 of Dancing with the Stars has reached its conclusion. And the winner is….

Ok, if you don’t want to know, this is your chance to stop reading.

The winners are…Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess! The couple beat out Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten, Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe andMilo Manheim and Witney Carson during the Monday (Nov. 19) finale.

“Thank you to the people,” Bones told the audience as tears fell onto the Mirror Ball he cradled in his arms.

While the DWTS judges often admitted throughout the season that Bones might not have been the best dancer on the show, he was the people’s champion as much of the country music industry was behind the radio host.

However, on Monday’s show, Bones and Burgess did receive their first perfect score of the season for a performance inspired by the movie The Greatest Showman. When they received the news, they fell to their knees and even laid down on the stage in disbelief.

Also during the episode, Bones confirmed that he would be joining the DWTS nationwide tour for some dates come 2019.

Bobby’s radio co-host, Amy Brown, shared a video from the audience as the winner was announced, saying, “I snuck video when they announced results…WE FREAKED!! Congrats Bobby Bones! WE HAVE THE BEST LISTENERS IN THE WORLD and YOU WORKED SO HARD!”
