Ed Sheeran has one of the most soothing voices in music and his performance of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” Sunday night (Feb. 17) during the Elvis all-star tribute on NBC held true.

Ed was tasked with covering Elvis’ 1961 hit “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” during the star-studded show. One thing different about Ed’s performance was that he was not on the recreated stage where Elvis shot his 1968 performance, ’68 Comeback Special.

Ed was backed a multi-person chorus that added beautiful harmonies to the the classic hit. “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was recorded by Elvis Presley for the album Blue Hawaii.

The two-hour show recreated Elvis’ 1968 special, which re-ignited his career. Additionally, rare footage and interviews with Presley’s wife, Priscilla Presley, the special’s director, Steve Binder, and daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, were featured.
