Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin return for season 5 of their popular Netflix series, “Grace and Frankie” and the brand new trailer gives us a look of what we can expect.
Set to hit the streaming service on January 18, Grace Hanson(Jane Fonda) and Frankie Bergstein (Lily Tomlin) return with a bang. The tagline for the new season is “Never too old to give a [email protected]$k.” The series follows Grace and Frankie as their lives were upended when their spouses (Martin Sheen, Sam Waterston) reveal they are gay and leave their wives for each other.
As in past seasons, the two women have each others backs but also get on each others nerves. We left the ladies last season as the house they share was being sold and the ladies were sent to assisted living by their kids. Season 5 picks up where we left off, showing the ladies wanting back in their house. The lengths these two will go through to get their lives back in order remains to be seen, but there’s sure to be hilarious ventures in store.
The full cast returns including Sam Waterston, Martin Sheen, Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, June Diane Raphael and Baron Vaughn. Making appearances in the new season will be RuPaul as Benjamin Le Day, a smart and quick-witted adversary for Grace and Frankie and Nicole Richie as Kareena G, a sweet but entitled pop star.
Grace and Frankie season 5 premiere on Netflix on January 18.
