Gwyneth Paltrow Gets Soaked on ‘Fallon’ During Karaoke Competition

-

When you are booked as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, you have to be up for just about anything. And so, on the Wednesday (Jan. 9) episode of the late night talk show, actress Gwyneth Paltrow should have known that she might find herself in some precarious circumstances.

But she probably didn’t know she would end up soaked.

In one segment, Paltrow and host Jimmy Fallon squared off on a singing game called “Slay It, Don’t Spray It.” As part of the game, each contestant had to finish the lyrics of a well known song. Yet, if they screwed up, they would be spayed with water coming from the microphone.

“I can’t sing!” Paltrow yelled after getting Ariana Grande’s hit song “No Tears Left to Cry.”

But there’s no hiding the fact that Paltrow actually can sing!

From there, the two took turns singing songs from artists such as Shawn Mendes and Christina Aguilera. In the end, both ended up soaked. But heck, it sure was fun to watch.

Paltrow was on the show to promote her new cookbook The Clean Plate: Eat, Reset, Heal. She’s also beaming following her marriage to Brad Falchuk and their New Year honeymoon with their kids and Paltrow’s ex-husband Chris Martin.
