Congratulations are in order for Hilary Duff and her fiancé Matthew Koma, who shared the news that they are engaged. Hilary announced the news in an Instagram post, alongside a photo of the couple with Hillary holding up her hand to show off the beautiful ring.

“He asked me to be his wife♥️,” she captioned the photo.

Matt also posted the same photos saying, “asked my best friend to marry me… @hilaryduff.”

The newly engaged Hilary responded to Matt’s post in the comment section saying, “thanks for the promotion babe.”

Hilary and Matt began dating in 2017 and welcomed their first daughter together, Banks Violet, with a water birth in Oct. 2018. In June 2018, Hilary and Matt announced that they were expecting a baby. “Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!” she posted on Instagram.

Hilary’s friend reached out via Instagram comment to share their congratulations.

“OMG my fave couple 😭😭😭,” Ashley Tisdale wrote. “I love everything about this!! So happy for you guys.”

“So happy for you babe!!! 💓✨,” added Lea Michele, while Hilary’s sister, Haylie, simply added three heart emojis in her comment.
