Every morning, Today co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb grace the country with a little news and a big smile. But come night time, the two have been known to get down to a little karaoke.
In fact, on Monday’s (Oct. 22) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kotb showed off her singing skills when she got up off the couch and tore into her own version of Flo Rida’s hit song “Low.”
The impromptu performance came at the urging of both Fallon and Guthrie during the game “Most Likely To.” The game also had the hosts talking about other pieces of their life, including Guthrie’s speeding problems and Kotb’s tendency to always leave a party early.
And while the two devote much of their time to the long-running NBC morning show, they both are also mothers who currently have Halloween on their mind.
“(Haley Joy) is going to be a bumblebee,” said Kotb of her 20-month-old daughter’s plans for the spooky holiday. “I’m so excited to take her out.”
Of course, leave it to Kotb to be totally truthful about the costume.
“I went on Amazon (and) it showed up at the house,” she laughed. “We’re all decking out together. (Boyfriend’s Joel Schiffman’s) doing it. I’m doing it. My mom’s coming. We’re all dressing like bees.”
