Jada Pinkett Smith and her son Jaden are calling out YouTuber Shane Dawson after a video resurfaced of Dawson allegedly inappropriately touching himself to a poster of 11-year-old Willow Smith, Jada’s daughter and Jaden’s sister, who is now 19 years old.

“To Shane Dawson … I’m done with the excuses,” Jada tweeted following Shane’s video apology for past actions.

Jaden also called out the Youtuber saying, “SHANE DAWSON I AM DISGUSTED BY YOU. YOU SEXUALIZING AN 11 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO HAPPENS TO BE MY SISTER!!!!!! IS THE FURTHEST THING FROM FUNNY AND NOT OKAY IN THE SLIGHTEST BIT.”

The comments come after Shane posted a video on Youtube apologizing for his racism and use sexualizing minors. In the video, titled “Taking Accountability,” Shane addresses his past use of blackface and the N-word.

“I have done a lot of things in my past that I wish I could make go away, that I try to make go away by deleting videos or untagging my Instagram things or literally doing whatever I can to pretend that those things didn’t happen,” Shane began his video. “This video for me is more about just saying everything I want to say and ways that I want to help be a part of a change and not be a part of the problem, which is what I’ve been a part of.”

He continued, “I made the decision to play stereotypes, black people or Asian people or Mexicans or pretty much every race. I made that decision. I said, ‘oh this is funny,’ and I put it on the internet. Now, years later I look back at that and I’ve talked about this before but —when I say I hate that person, I mean it in the most intense way possible. I hate that person so much. That person was filled with sadness, filled with anger about their own issues, in the closet, constantly projecting on others. That person is someone I don’t like seeing. That’s why I think I’ve been avoiding this.”

The apology was not enough for Jaden who then took Shane to task about his use of blackface in a second post.

“This Man Was Also Doing Black Face On The Regular 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. As The Youth We Need To Support Creators Who Support Us And Our Morals. This Is Not Okay,” he Tweeted.

Shane then went to address the accusations of inappropriate actions towards minors, but fell short of mentioning Willow by name.

“I swear on my life, I am not somebody who would ever talk about a child in seriousness. I would never talk  about a child in anyway that was inappropriate. That is disgusting, that is gross, it is not something I would ever do. It’s something I did for shock value or because I thought it was funny,” he said. “It’s all gross. I promise that is not real. It is not me.”

Willow has yet to comment publicly on Shane’s actions.
