It takes a lot for a contestant on The Voice to get all of the coaches to turn their red chairs during the Blind Auditions portion of the singing competition show. But it takes even more to get them to jump out of that seat too.

That’s exactly what happened on the Monday (March 4) episode, when singer Jej Vinson stepped on the stage to sing Drake’s song “Passionfruit.” The singer, who hails from the Philippines, immediately impressed coach Blake Shelton with his impressive vocal runs, and also grabbed the attention of coaches Adam Levine and John Legend.

Yet, before his performance was through, he even got coach Kelly Clarkson to not only turn her chair, but jump right out of it! And once his performance was through, she even went and gave the talented vocalist a hug.

“I can win this show with you,” said Kelly, who Vinson ultimately picked as his coach. “You are incredible. I turned around and I was like, ‘what?’ It was so effortless.”

“You know, I think everybody here is probably a little bit nervous talking to you right now,” Shelton added. “We all feel like we’re looking at the winner of The Voice this season.”
