After making audiences fall in love with them as a couple in the 2011 film Just Go With It, Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler are reuniting for a Netflix comedy film, Murder Mystery.
Adam and Jennifer play a married couple Nick, a NYC police detective, and Audrey Spitz who are headed out on a European vacation. Audrey meets a mysterious man on the plane who invites the couple to spend the weekend with him on a yacht. Let the hilarity ensue. Turns out, a murder takes place on the yacht and Nick and Audrey become the prime suspects.
“Prepare for an adventure to die for,” the trailer says.
Also starring in the movie alongside Aniston and Sandler will be Luke Evans, Gemma Arterton and Terence Stamp.
Jennifer and Adam starred in the 2011 film Just Go With It, where a plastic surgeon, played by Adam Sandler, convinces his loyal assistant, Jennifer Aniston, to pose as his soon-to-be-divorced wife in order to cover up a lie he told to his much-younger girlfriend, Brooklyn Decker, the IMDB synopsis reads.
They acting duo have been friends for over twenty years and met through mutual friends. You know what they say, the friends that work together, stay together. Ok, Maybe not.
Murder Mystery is set to be released on June 14.
