Apple TV is set to make quite a splash this fall on their new subscription streaming service courtesy of The Morning Show.
Starring Jennifer Aniston, the show follows an early morning TV news host who finds herself alone at the anchor desk after her co-host (played by Steve Carell) is fired, possibly for sexual misconduct.
Umm, Matt Lauer flashbacks anyone?

The first trailer for the show also features Reese Witherspoon, who plays a young co-host looking to take the top anchor seat.
“Most people want to trust that the person who is telling them about the world is an honest person, like you” Witherspoon tells her co-host in the trailer for the new show.
According to Variety, ‘Apple ordered two seasons of the show, with 10 episodes per season streaming exclusively on Apple TV Plus.’
“I’m so proud of my new project, The Morning Show, but it was probably the hardest job I’ve done thus far,” Aniston says in a recent interview with InStyle magazine. “It was like digging into wells that I don’t think I’ve ever explored. I had to unpack emotions in order to serve this incredible material. Sometimes you can lose sight of what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, but this has been a really great reminder for me about why I do this.”
