During her recent media blitz for her new movie Second Act, Jennifer Lopez has seemed always eager to talk about a music video for a song “Limitless.” The song is not only featured in the movie, but it’s also the first music video Lopez has ever directed. But there is another reason she can’t seem to keep from talking about it. Her ten-year-old daughter is in it.
“When I tell you, she was so amazing and I was so proud,” Lopez told talk show host Jimmy Fallon during a recent interview about her daughter Emme. “I forgot that I was directing my first video, it was all about her. It was all about her.”
Indeed, her daughter Emme plays a younger version of her famous mom in the video and also appears alongside her mom in the powerful piece.
And yes, by the looks of it, Emme just might have inherited some of her mom’s dance talents, as she shows off some impressive moves during the video. She has also seemed to have inherited her mom’s way of telling a powerful story.
“And when you see the video, it’s so empowering for, just to see her doing this but, like, for women,” Lopez also told Fallon. “It talks about being limitless, it talks about having second acts, it’s a beautiful message as well, and great to share with her, doing that. We really bonded.”
