As Miley Cyrus preps for her big performance on Saturday Night Live on Saturday, December 15 the music superstar took the time to stop by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to partake in a heated “Name That Song Challenge.”
And yes, things got serious right out of the gate.
“By the way, I am ready to win,” host Jimmy Fallon teased Cyrus before his band the Roots had even played one note. “Let’s go.”
During the game, both Cyrus and Fallon did their best to guess popular songs as fast as they could, with Fallon taking the early lead by guessing songs such as Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock N’ Roll” and Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved.”
Of course, Cyrus is no slouch either in the music department, as she quickly guessed songs like Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” and her godmother Dolly Parton’s classic song “9 to 5.”
And not surprisingly so, Cyrus was the first to buzz in to correctly guess her own song “Party in the U.S.A.”
Cyrus appeared on the late night talk show just one night after her brother Braison Cyrus made his debut on Fallon with his song “I’ll Never Leave You” on Wednesday (Dec. 12.)
