Hours after the romantic J.J. Watt’s romantic sunset proposal to his now fiancé Kealia Ohai on Sunday (May 25,) the football player had another special surprise in store for his future bride.

“Can’t explain how thankful and happy I am feeling,” Ohai wrote on her Instagram page on Monday (May 27) alongside a video of the special moment. “JJ surprised me by flying in my family and best friends to celebrate our engagement. I was so excited and shocked all I could do was cry. Thank you so much J.J. Watt. I am the luckiest girl in the world and will never ever forget this special day. I love you all so much.”

The two, who were first linked together back in 2016, got engaged during a sunset dinner that couldn’t have been more picturesque.

“I’m the luckiest man in the world,” Watt said on his Instagram page alongside the hashtag ‘She.Said.Yes.’

Fans will recall that not only does Watt play for the Houston Texans, but Ohai is a forward on the Houston Dash soccer team.

And yes, it’s a welcome piece of good news for the couple, as Watts mourned the loss of his great-grandmother earlier this year.

“Rest peacefully beautiful soul,” Watt wrote alongside a sweet picture of him and his great-Grandma. “Thank you for being the guiding light of our family for so many years. 101 years is a truly remarkable run and we are so grateful to have been able to spend the time with you that we did. I love you Great-Grandma. You will be forever missed.”

Congratulations to the happy couple.
