NASCAR and Indy Car racer John Andretti recently shared another step in his cancer journey, telling fans that he will be starting yet another round of chemo on Monday (July 16.)

“I received another 12 ride tickets on the #chemocoaster if I can take it,” Andretti writes. “I hate the ride but am in line for another ride on Monday. The hope is to keep the cancer from growing or spreading more. Still no clear plan on the outcome. Please keep praying & #CheckIt4Andretti.”

Fans will recall that Andretti was diagnosed with colon cancer back in January 2017. From there, cancer spread to his liver. Andretti completed his chemotherapy treatments for the Stage 4 cancer, but on May 29 of this year, he shared with fans that the disease was still growing and spreading throughout his body.

“Following my 6 month scans last week, we received the news that the cancer has returned & spread to other areas,” he wrote. “We are in the process of evaluating our options of treatment. Although this is a difficult time for us, your continued prayers & support are very important to us.”

Everyone here at One Country send the Andretti family our well wishes during this very difficult time.
