John Travolta really needed to calm down Monday night (August 26) at the MTV Video Music Awards, as his nervousness seemed to almost get him in a whole lot of trouble…again.

Appearing on stage alongside fellow presenter Queen Latifah, the Hairspray actor was on hand to present one of the biggest awards of the night – “Video of the Year.” Yet, when asked to proclaim the winner, he began by dropping the f-bomb, saying that he didn’t want to say the winners name for fear he would ‘f— it up.”

“I shouldn’t do this because I’ll just mispronounce s**t and f**k things up,” he told Latifah before handing her the envelope.

We mean, we sort of get it. Heck, who could forget back at the 2014 Oscars when he flubbed Idina Menzel’s name when he introduced her before her performance of the Best Original Song?!?

But gosh almighty, on Monday night (Aug. 26), Travolta wasn’t done yet. When Queen Latifah eventually called out Taylor Swift’s name as the winner of the “Video of the Year” for her song “You Need to Calm Down,” Travolta could be seen mistakenly handing the award to drag queen Jade Jolie, who was one of the many LGBTQ stars that joined Swift both in the video and onstage to accept the award.

In all fairness, Jade did portray a drag version of Taylor in the “You Need to Calm Down” video. And she kind of did have the same haircut as Swift, right?

But really?!?
