It’s been ten years since former reality television sweethearts Kate and Jon Gosselin split.

Yet, the two still have their troubles, especially when it comes to raising their children. The couple, who shared much of their lives on the TLC show Jon and Kate Plus 8, share eight children together, including 19-year-old twins Madelyn and Cara, and 15-year-old sextuplets Colin, Hannah, Joel, Alexis, Leah, and Aaden.

“I believe her intentions in the beginning were good intentions, bringing kids into the world,” Jon says in a recent interview on The Dr. Oz Show. “She fought to have these kids. But I think once fame and money got involved it twisted her belief system. On my end, I’ve been fighting to get my kids off TV forever.”

Indeed, even after their divorce, Kate has continued to film shows for TLC, including Kate Plus 8 and other specials which included some of her and Jon’s children.

Jon currently has custody of two of the eight children, namely Collin and Hannah. In previous interviews, Jon has gone so far to claim that both Collin and Hannah suffer from PTSD. Also on Monday’s episode, Jon claims that he ‘bankrupted himself’ during the divorce proceedings with Kate back in 2009.

“I have consistently made it a rule never to respond to Jon’s delusional ramblings, and I will not break that rule now,” Kate said in an exclusive statement to People. “However, at some point soon, I look forward to making sure the absolute truth about our family is known.”
