“Property Brothers’” Jonathan Scott Opens Up About Almost Being “The Bachelor”

As his brother Drew Scott enjoys his time as a newlywed, many are hoping that “Property Brothers” Jonathon Scott will soon find love too. But it sure sounds like he won’t be finding that love on shows like “The Bachelor.”

“I would be riddled with anxiety,” Jonathon said when asked by Today’s Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb and guest Rita Wilson about reports that he has been asked many times to be “The Bachelor.” “I couldn’t do it. I prefer to focus on one gal at a time.”

He is also spending his time focusing on his many projects, including him and his brothers’ new children’s book, “Builder Brothers: Big Plans.”

“This was so much fun,” Drew says about the book. “This is the most fun we’ve ever had. We’ve done two other books but this is the first one that’s for a kid audience out there. Who would have thought so many kids would love real estate and design?”

Also while on the show, the two brothers did their best playing the game “Which Brother,” where they admitted which one of them used to call a 1-900 singles line back in the day (yes, it was Drew) and who dressed up like his brother to score a girl (and yes, it was Jonathan!)
