Jordyn Woods, the woman accused of allegedly cheating with Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson, sat down with family friend Jada Pinkett Smith to set the record straight.
Jordyn was a guest on Jada’s Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk. The series’ official description is: “Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow, and mother Adrienne – three generations of women open their home for a series of candid conversations with family and friends.”
The Smith’s found themselves in the middle of the controversy because Jordyn is the daughter of a sound engineer that Will Smith became friends with on the set of “Fresh Prince of Bel Air.” Jordyn and Jaden Smith (Will and Jada’s son) became best friends and Jaden introduced Jordyn to Kylie Jenner (Khloe’s half sister). The two became inseparable best friends and Jordyn resided with Kylie in her home. Following?
After news broke on Wednesday (Feb. 20) that Jordyn cheated with Tristan, Jordyn was vilified on social media. Jada and Will asked Jordyn to tell her side of the story on the Facebook Watch series, which aired Friday (March 1). First and foremost, Jada wanted to know what happened straight from Jordyn.
“Sunday night, I went to dinner with some friends and I went to this bar after, there was a party going on. I was minding my business, dancing, drinking.Tristan was there, he was doing his own thing. That was it. After the club, normal L.A. culture when your young, you go to the bar, go to the club, it ends early we all go to a house after,” Jordyn shared of the night.
“We’re all dancing and we’re all drinking and we’re all enjoying the time and I’m not thinking I shouldn’t be here. That’s my first step where I went wrong,” Jordyn admitted. “I should have gone home after the party. I shouldn’t even have been there” she added. “Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him. Never once did we leave the public area, go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom. We’re all in plain sight.”
Jordyn went on to explain what she believes people saw.
“There was no lap dance involved. He’s sitting in this chair and there is an arm of the chair that goes up and I’m sitting on the arm of the chair. So you come into the party and you look and you see me sitting on the chair, in my head this is innocent,” she said. “We’re all drinking, we’re all chilling. There’s no way it would look like a lap dance. But I can see why people would say, ‘oh they’re getting cozy.’
When asked is she had her arm around him, Jordyn replied, “No, but my legs were laying right over his. My butt was never sitting on him. But my legs were dangling down so I picked them up and put them over onto the bottom of his legs.”
Jordyn went on to take responsibility for her part in the actions. “I wasn’t thinking right,” she said. While she understood why people may think something happened, she says it was innocent and she left the party.
This is where the story gets tricky. “I feel like I can’t point fingers and I can’t say, ‘you did this or you did this,’ because I allowed myself to be there. I was drunk, but I was not beyond the point of recollection. I know where I was. But on the way out he did kiss me. No passion. It was like a kiss on the lips,” she shared. “But not tongue kiss, no making out. I don’t think he’s wrong either because I allowed myself to be in that position and when alcohol is involved, people make dumb moves or people get caught up in the moment.”
