The original threesome will star alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, who have starred in the Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
According to Deadline, director Colin Trevorrow revealed the actors participation in the film during a screening of his short film Battle at Big Rock.
While all three actors have made appearances in several of the Jurassic Park incarnations, they three did not appear together. Laura Dern returned to her role as Dr. Ellie Sattler for a cameo in Jurassic Park III, and Sam Neill reprised his role as Dr. Alan Grant. Jeff Goldblum played Ian Malcolm in The Lost World: Jurassic Park and returned in the latest installment, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Collin revealed that Laura will return as a “major role, not a cameo.”
“I’m so excited. I’m so excited to have you share this news. I love dinosaurs. I love that you love them like you do,” Laura said at the screening. “If it’s not asking too much if I’m going to get to join in this party again, I would hate to not bring my friends Sam Neill and Jeff Goldbum too.”
