The duo’s relationship turned heads and many comments when the stunning actress began dating the Saturday Night Live comedian earlier this year. Comments really flared when photos of the couple making out at a hockey game emerged. Pete had just gotten out of a very public relationship with pop star Ariana Grande, the two were engaged, when he began hooking up with Kate, garnering more media to his personal life.

One insider shared with Page Six that, “Even though Kate has been in Hollywood for a long time, she struggled with the attention on her relationship with Pete. He lives his life with his heart on his sleeve.” Both Kate and Pete have kept mum about their relationship until the interest in their coupledom became too much.

“I’ve never been in this position before,” Kate said. “Never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief.”

Pete addressed the age difference between the two, she’s 45 and he’s 25,  during the weekend news segment on Saturday Night Live.

“Apparently, people have a crazy fascination with our age difference,” Pete said. “But it doesn’t really bother us. But then again I’m new to this, so if you have questions about relationships with a big age difference just ask Leonardo Dicaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn and whoever the President of France is, Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammar, Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart and Donald Trump.”

Well played!
