In case you missed it, Kelly Clarkson and Today co-host Hoda Kotb have been teasing a “secret project” they’ve been working on together, and now we’re getting a look (or should I say, a listen), and it’s the sweetest thing ever.

Hoda recently wrote a children’s book, “I’ve Loved You Since Forever,” as a tribute to her adopted daughter, Haley Joy. Now, Kelly Clarkson has turned it into a lullaby, and it’s just as perfect as you’d imagine.

While the full song and/or video has to be purchased on iTunes, Hoda released a clip where we see Kelly sing: “Before birds flew over rainbows, the monkeys swung on trees, there was you, and there was me– waiting for the day our paths would cross and you and I turned into we.”

According to Today, profits from each download and stream of “I’ve Loved You Since Forever” will be donated to Helpusadopt.org (a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples and individuals with the cost of their adoptions by awarding grants up to $15,000.
